Moon Shadow

Right now the moon appears 30% brighter and 14% larger than other full moons in 2008.  That's because the moon is at its closest point to the center of the earth right now.  It is amazingly bright out there.  And there are Moon Shadows that appear about the same size as your shadow at high noon.  Not bad.
