Creative Process - Really a Process?

I'm a firm believer that there is a process underlying any creative effort. The trick is in discovering the process - your process - and doing what you can to foster it without blighting it.

I mean, if you're going to work steadily as a freelance writer, you pretty much have to be able to produce your work on somebody else's timetable.

With that in mind, I jumped at the chance to enroll in the NewsU class, Writers @ Work. It deals with the steps in the process of creating a story in a rational way.

Sounds good to me.
