Calling all families with creative kids -- and adults.

VisArts in the new Rockville Town Square is a wonderful place to get in touch with the artist in you. Each of my kids has found something there they enjoy. They've got photography for adults and kids, camps with digital and clay animation, drawing, painting, and clay classes.....

Check it out!

And while the kids are there you can visit the library, stroll around, or have a cup of coffee or a quick snack!

DC Metro OBOE TEACHER ...

If you've ever tried to find an oboe teacher, you know it's close to impossible. But we have an outstanding oboe teacher - Jeanine Reinier. She's also Associate Principal Oboist with the Fairfax Symphony and plays with the Baltimore Opera Orchestra. She'll be soloing with an orchestra next year with the Vaughn-Williams Oboe Concerto.

She teaches oboe, woodwinds, beginning piano, music theory, and oboe reed making in the DC Metro area.
